Her “Granny Smith Apple Pie” was a masterpiece of flaky crust and perfectly balanced tartness, earning her the coveted Golden Apple trophy. Apple Butter Contest Knoxville continued its winning streak in the Apple Butter Contest, with the city’s “Applewood Heights” variety taking first place.
